We had a good experience at enterprise. The car we had was smoked in you guys need to implement very stiff and high fines for smoking in rental cars. I know they Order cars with 4 cylinders to keep costs down but a v6 in a mid size car would be better when traveling in the mountains.

Reserved vehicle online for confirmed pick up in Seymour Indiana, vehicle not available even though received email confirmation. Drove 20 miles to find this out at counter. Agent said notified me by email and left voice mail, did not receive email or voicemail. Rented Uhaul vehicle instead. No I'm sorry or anything other than I could drive another 45 miles to pick up a vehicle there. Horrible system, inventories screwed up, horrible customer service.

I arrived to pick up a rental and there were about 4 people waiting to pick up cars and the staff seemed overwhelmed. They seemed disorganized. They couldn't find keys or figure out if a car was available to be rented or not. I clearly stated I wanted a car my insurance company would 100 percent for. The lady kept pointing out different cars wanting to know if I was ok with that one. Each time I asked will my insurance pay 100 percent for that car each time she said no but it will only cost this much extra. I finally got forceful and said I am not paying one dime more than my insurance will cover do you have a car that fits that criteria. She said they had several I said just give me one of those. She could only find the keys to one of the cars. She took me to the car and said it hasn't been cleaned yet do you want to wait for us to clean it. I said no I would take it as is since I wasted enough time there as it was. I have used Enterprise a number of times over the years and always had a good experience.

Made reservations 4 weeks in advance, got called 2 hrs before I was to pick it up saying they did not have the vehicle I requested...ling story short,they fumbled around, finally got a vehicle that I requested but made me an 1-1/2 late and added a ton of stress!!!sure they gave money off,but that did not make up for the stress and headache it caused me!!!!!
