Decent food. Clean bathrooms. A lot of parking spaces
Stopped here because straps were coming loose on my uhaul. Being a female, I couldn't get them tight or figure them out. Jim at the service counter came out and fixed everything for me and made sure I was safe! Thank you for everything. Traveling alone with a small child is stressful enough, he just made me feel safe.
Lots of parking that is never too far from an entrance. Set up is a bit weird. Ladies room is on one side by the "cars" entrance while the mens room is on the other side by the "truck" entrance. Restrooms were clean. Showers are upstairs I think. Didn't check them out.
AWFUL!!! I broke down on the road and I realized that I most likely had a fuel pump problem. I called them and explained everything to them and asked if they can fix fuel pumps, to know whether to get towed to them or to look for someone else. They assured me that YES they can fix it if that's the problem. I spent $300 on towing to get there and they spent two hours looking at it. They confirmed that yes, it was a fuel problem. Then they told me that unfortunately they don't fix fuel problems. I spoke to Ryan, the manager who told me there was a miscommunication. So then I kindly asked who's gonna reimburse for either my towing TO them or my towing FROM them to another shop because it was a miscommunication on their part.. They did nothing about it. Make sure that if you ever need anything from them, ask to speak to people who actually know what they are saying. From the looks of it, not many people like that are here.
The restaurant has decent and fresh food though my fiance's fried chicken from the buffet was raw inside and burnt on the outside. Sweet tea is good. The service was ok.
Most TA's have a wider selection of dining choices, this one doesn't. The Country Pride closes in the evening leaving late drivers to the mercy of the roller grill. Very hard for a healthy minded driver to eat right. It was clean and orderly but the showers were small and the hot water takes it's own sweet time.
