The office staff cannot do basic math functions when filling out peoples income based paperwork for apartments. Take for example 1031×12= even if you estimate it. The answer is just over $12,000. Not to the brianiacs at the Springs office they came up with like $18,000. Also they ran 4 seperate credit reports on me. Not sure why. Do know each report resulted in a 10 point hit to my credit score.
Let's not forget the bug problems. Bed bugs, roachs, ants. Then theirs the Black mold in apartments. Heaters that break in middle of winter that don't get fixed for days. The fact that the office determines if and when you can turn your AC on.
We went in their to rent an apartment. Filled out Paperwork to see what we qualified for. Then we're told nothing available. And we could keep calling. The people in the office are rude and tell me I didn't fill out any paperwork. How would I know what we qualified for if I didn't fill out paperwork. The office staff is again RUDE AND SNOBBY! If you can find someplace else then go there instead!
While the price point is fair and I understand why the women in the office are snobby (imagine how much they deal with on a daily basis!) the maintenance men are EXTREMELY creepy and shady. They will make any young woman feel uncomfortable. I have heard numerous other accounts of young women here who have felt uneasy in their presence and they do not feel comfortable with these men having full uncharted access to their private belongings and space. There have been rumors that there are cases in which they will access your apartment without any notice if they believe no one is present.
The worst place I've ever lived. The ladies in the office are nice until you move in, then act like the snobbiest, most unfriendly people ever. The maintenance people won't come if you have a problem unless you call a thousand and one times. Plus, they are also SO rude and act like everything is your fault. I mean it when I say that everyone here is so unfriendly. Don't live here, filled with a bunch of nasty people here. Not safe
In the winter time maitence takea forever to remove ice from sidewalks.
Worst Experience EVER! Real HELL hole. Was warned before moving that the maintenance men were shady learned first hand that this is true. They will act nice to your face, but they are not. The apartments look nice and it has nice features too bad the the people who live here are mostly ghetto. Worst apartments I ever lived in and they will not help you if you have horrible neighbors the office employees reveal personal information to others and are rude. Good luck if you get trapped here cause once you sign the lease even through no fault of your own they can evict you and you are responsible for the fees until your lease is up. Also one of my neighbors who just moved in got bed bugs not from her stuff, but from the apartment because the people who moved out had them. I had to spend a tun of money to protect myself from getting them. I did a lot of research about them when I found out that she got them and they actually have tests you can buy to see if the apartments have bed bugs. I'm not sure why Sycamore Springs can't do this on their own, but then again I don't expect them to care about anything but $$$$$$$.
